Nestled in the midst of one of Maine’s historic communities, the beautiful Penobscot campus is located in the city of Bangor. Bangor is a major commercial and cultural center for eastern and northern Maine and the third-largest city in the state. The campus is home to over 250 students and also serves a commuter population of students. Committed to “Creating a Community that Works” positive every day opportunities are created for our students and their barriers overcome. Students at Penobscot discover pathways to their future careers and realize their extraordinary potential. The Center has partnerships with industry leaders, local employers, and area community colleges. These partnership create opportunities for students to receive premier training as well as on the job training.

Career Technical Training
In addition to academic training, Penobscot Job Corps provides career technical training in the following vocational trades:
- Carpentry
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Culinary Arts
- Welding
- Advanced Marine Pipefitting
- Advanced Baking & Pastry
