The South Bronx Center is on a three-acre site, in a medium-density residential neighborhood in South Bronx, New York.  The facilities were formerly the Messiah Home for Children (1980-1920), and a Salvation Army training school (1920-1975).  The Campus was activated in 1980, and has 124,776 gross square feet in three buildings.  The Center provides residential living, academic education, recreation, and vocational training for a population of 213 resident students and 37 nonresidential students.
